Retail and Customer Service Volunteer
The Role
Your role will be to assist the Shop Manager to run the Charity store effectively. There are many aspects to running the store, which you will be involved in. Running the store is a team effort, so you will need to work efficiently & effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Customer service
Assisting customers
Dealing with customer complaints
Till experience
To complete a delivery to meet the specific needs of the service user
Liaise with office/warehouse staff to ensure the needs of the service user are met
Displays and Window Dressing
Rotating merchandise
Displaying of goods & clothing
Sorting of donated items (front door donations)
Quality control of all donated goods (clothes/household)
Stock control of all donated clothes/household items
Ensure clothes stock is sorted and stored into seasonal stock or rag items.
General
Good Housekeeping of shop environment
Report any health and safety concern to the Shop Manger or Operational Manager
Report any Fire Safety concerns to the Shop Manager or the Operational Director
Report all security concerns to the Shop Manager
Complete relevant paperwork
