Volunteer Warehouse Assistant – Provision House

As a Volunteer Warehouse Assistant at Provision House, I support the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, helping to ensure that donated goods and supplies are received, organised, and distributed efficiently. My responsibilities include sorting and categorising donations, checking items for quality and suitability, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

I assist with preparing orders and food parcels for individuals and families in need, ensuring items are packed accurately and ready for collection or delivery. I also help with unloading deliveries, moving stock within the warehouse, and monitoring inventory levels to support smooth operations.

Working as part of a dedicated team, I contribute to providing essential support to the local community while developing strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a willingness to undertake manual handling tasks when required.

Through this voluntary position, I am committed to supporting Provision House’s mission of helping vulnerable individuals and families by ensuring that resources are managed effectively and distributed to those who need them most. This experience has strengthened my ability to work in a fast-paced environment while making a positive impact within the community.
